Winter Skin Care Tips

Enjoying outdoor living especially in the Winter we need to look after our skin.

Water is the best to keep your skin hydrated, carry a bottle with you all the time and drink as much as you can, whenever you can.

During the harsh weather drinking water helps the skin release any toxins, hydrating from the inside out gives your skin a healthy glow and lessens the appearance of wrinkles.

Even in Winter we can get Sunshine, so Sunscreen and moisturizer is a good first defence against the harmful effects of sunlight.

Exfoliation is a good step in your weekly routine, one to three times a week is plenty, use in circular motions with water if using our scrubs, and always finish with a moisturiser.

Also look after our feet, this is a vital part of the body and they do get sore and irritated, again use a body scrub like fresh sea minerals, on the bottom of your feet and heels and a lovely foot soap, with peppermint and lavender to keep your feet and toes in tip top condition, and as always a moisturiser with fresh body butter.

Whilst daily cleansing and moisturising is vital to keep the skin healthy, additional measures such as exercise keeps the blood flowing and the circulation moving.

Eating fruits with high water content is great for the skin tone, watermelon, oranges, yellow vegetables are rich in antioxidants and full of healthy nutrients.

Keep your skin restored, balanced, healthy and nourished this Winter, and always keep a lip balm to hand, we have a choice of lovely fragrances with added Melissa oil and Hemp to prevent a cold sore.
